TCM Anxiety Syndrome Self-Rating Scale

TCM-ANX is a TCM syndrome-based self-rating scale for anxiety. It has 12 items with a total score of 0–36.

What this scale measuresTCM-ANX evaluates anxiety-related symptoms of the past two weeks from a TCM syndrome angle, including nervousness, fear, palpitations, shortness of breath, dizziness, insomnia, poor appetite, dry mouth, sweating, restlessness, chest oppression and muscle tension. It can serve as an auxiliary reference for TCM pattern differentiation but never replaces an in-person TCM consultation.
